Chapter 010 : Cooperative Educational Service Areas

§ 601. Policy
It is the policy of the State to create cooperative educational service areas to provide shared programs and services on a regional and statewide level. It is the intent of the General Assembly that cooperative educational service areas are utilized by member supervisory unions to maximize the impact of available dollars through collaborative funding; reduce duplication of programs, personnel, and services; ensure every middle and high school student has a genuine opportunity to participate fully in and to benefit from career technical education; and contribute to the equalization of educational opportunities for all pupils.
